Session Descriptions

Tuesday, June 9

1. Camp Kick-Off: Your Style Story (In-person, DC)

Meet your fellow campers at this kick-off all about your style story. What story do you want your clothes to tell about who you are? What do you truly love? What are your biggest barriers to falling more fully in love with your style? This session is designed to help you both get to know yourself and each other better. This will set the stage for both camaraderie and clarity of purpose through your camp time.

Thursday, June 11

2. Line and Color (remote)

All bodies have beautiful, distinctive lines and shapes. In this safe space, learn about a framework that can help you notice the distinguishing qualities of your physical presence and identify the clothing silhouettes that most harmonize with them. We will also do a quick review of color season analysis, which is a great time to ask questions about what you’ve already learned.

Identifying your best lines and magic colors is a foundational, transformative step toward creating a distinctive personal style that honors your physical presence and truly delights you.

Tuesday, June 16

3. The Swift Thrift (In person, Arlington)

Your stylist will share shopping secrets from her 30 years of thrifting at this store she has selected for its stellar inventory. Shop your wish list and learn how to care for your clothes so they last. This is a great way to explore your evolving style as it aggregates multiple brands, eras, and you can invest in style adventures with little cost.

Thursday, June 18

4. Style! (Remote)

Of course, it isn’t just about the right pieces: it’s how you put them together that really conveys style. Have a piece you’ve always loved, but never wear? Let us help trouble shoot it for you! Get styling tips and tricks as you integrate your “recent acquisitions” with your curated wardrobe to solidify your current aesthetic.

Tuesday, June 23

5. Runway the Fun Way (In person, DC)

Wear your favorite new outfit to a final gathering to celebrate what we’ve learned together. Get answers to any remaining style quandaries, socialize, and leave with a special keepsake to encourage your ongoing style journey.

Ready to invest in yourself and the fun of learning in community? Admission to Style Summer Camp is $125.
