I’d rather get to know you…but a little about me

I've been styling friends and family for decades, but launched this business in 2021. Since then, I've helped over 350 people curate wardrobes that honor their unique beauty and values. If you want to feel great in your clothes AND great about how you got them, let's talk.

My education includes visual art, costume design, garment construction, and fashion history. All of that informs my work with clients, but listening and intuition are just as important. If I get to know you, I can help you tell your story through clothes.

I’m also a second-hand shopping supernova, if I do say so myself! I started thrifting twenty-five years ago because I loved vintage silhouettes and the treasure hunt. As my ethics and awareness developed, it became the only way I could shop–from workwear to my wedding dress. Now, I’m happy to use that skill for clients who wish it, whether their interest is ethical or financial.

Do I have a certain aesthetic as a stylist? No. My advice is very tailored to you. I love my personal style, but my job is to help you name and fully embrace yours! My greatest wish for you is harmony between your clothes and: your values, your personality, your goals, your lifestyle, and your physical presence. Naturally, that will look different for each person. I do have one habit: I mostly steer clients toward high-quality, timeless pieces. I support a trend that suits you, but, overall, I want our work together to be a wise investment that serves you well for a long time.

Finally, I want you to feel beautiful and confident head-to-toe. Many of us struggle with changes to our body and confidence. I’ve dressed clients in a great range of shapes and sizes and find that having insecurities is pretty universal, but that everyone is beautiful as they are. Personally, I have been all of the sizes from 0-16. Society’s messages about beauty are powerful and easily internalized, but I resolutely dressed myself glamorously at each size. And I bring that same resolve to supporting the confidence of each client.

In every phase of life, in every version of your body, you deserve to feel amazing in your clothes. You are worth the investment. And I’m here to help.

Wishing you a wardrobe of ease and joy,

Ali
